A college degree has the power to end the cycle of poverty in a family forever.
Through an individualized, holistic, and multi-year commitment, CB empowers students from disadvantaged backgrounds to complete higher education and enter successful careers.
During the 2022-23 school year, we served 500+ students. Of those, 50% come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds AND will be the first in their families to graduate from college. College Bound students graduate at five times the rate of their economically disadvantage peers. Since 2006, over 350+ degrees have been awarded to our students.
Thanks to the support of our generous partners like the Dana Brown Charitable Trust, we’re able to empower first-generation college students to live lives of choice and opportunity. A college degree has the power to end the cycle of poverty in a family forever. An adult with college degree earns nearly $2.8M more over a lifetime than their counterpart with only a high school diploma.
